A full salon, without chasing anyone.

Lab Beauty helps hair salons, barbershops and beauty centres win back dormant clients, fill calendar gaps and get Google reviews, automatically.

The problem

Salons lose clients without noticing.

Most small salons manage their calendar by hand or with basic tools and have nobody dedicated to marketing. When a client stops coming, nobody notices until it's too late. Owners don't want “AI”: they want more appointments, fewer gaps and more reviews.

  • Clients who don't return

    Nobody warns or follows up.

  • Calendar gaps

Free hours that are never recovered.

  • Few reviews

Happy clients, but nobody asks them.

A client's journey

  1. 1

    Signs up at the salon

QR or NFC at the counter, no app.

  2. 2

    The dashboard classifies her

    Active, dormant or reactivated.

  3. 3

    Receives a campaign

A personal message when she stops coming.

  4. 4

    Books an appointment

    Directly through Cal.com.

  5. 5

    Leaves a review

    Automatic request after the visit.

Key decisions

Selling results, not technology

The dashboard speaks the salon's language: active, dormant and reactivated clients, and a “reactivate” button where it's needed. No abstract metrics. Every screen answers one question: who do I need to win back today?

Dashboard cards: total clients, active, dormant with the “reactivate” link, and reactivated

Sign-up in seconds, in the salon itself

A QR code on the mirror or an NFC card at the counter opens a page with the salon's logo. Name, phone or email and a clear consent checkbox. Nothing to download.

Integrate instead of reinventing

Instead of building yet another calendar, Lab Beauty connects to Cal.com. The salon keeps its way of booking and I focus on what nobody solves for them: winning back clients.

Privacy by design

The data belongs to the salon's clients, so consent is requested at sign-up in plain language, can be withdrawn at any time and the data is hosted in the EU.

Pilot

What we expect to measure in the first salon.

  • Dormant clients who return within 30 days
  • Appointments recovered through campaigns
  • New Google reviews
  • Product running in production, with dashboard, campaigns, QR/NFC sign-up and Cal.com integration.
  • Reusable technical base for new sectors: Lab Health, Lab Work and Lab School.
  • Next step: an AI agent on WhatsApp that talks to the salon's clients.

What I learned

What the salon already uses comes first.

  • Integrating what the client already uses (Cal.com) is worth more than building everything from scratch.
  • A dashboard that speaks the business's language needs no training.
  • Well-explained privacy doesn't slow down sign-up: it builds trust.
